If you have a limited amount of time, and would really like to hike the Inca Trail, in Cusco, Peru Travel Now is now offering a short Inca Trail tour. The tour consists of six days and five nights, and is conducted by experienced tour guides, that will be able to tell you numerous amounts of stories about the Inca culture. The tour starts in Lima, where you will enjoy a city tour comprised of visits to historical landmarks embedded in a modern urban setting. Then, you'll arrive at Cusco, where you'll be surrounded by the majesty of the Inca culture. You'll be led throughout temples, colonial churches, and finally taken to Machu Picchu; the perfect ending to the perfect trip.

Day 1: Lima
Arrival to Lima and welcoming reception. In the afternoon we will have a tour through Lima’s streets and plazas. Starting at the Love Park in Miraflores, with a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean, and then heading to the Huaca Pucllana, ceremonial center of the Lima culture. Later we will go to San Isidro, financial center of the city to visit de Huaca Huallamarca, ancient pre-Incan shrine. After this, we go on to the Main Square where the Government Palace and the Town Hall are located. We will visit the Cathedral and explore the San Francisco convent, built in the seventeenth century, to discover the mystery of its catacombs. Stay in Lima.
Day 2: Lima/Cusco – (Breakfast included)
Transfer to the airport and flight to Cusco. On arrival, welcoming reception and transfer to hotel. In the afternoon the Imperial Cusco city tour starts at the Main Square to visit the Cathedral and its valuable and beautiful colonial masterpieces such as The Cross which arrived along with the first conquistadores. Then it is time to visit the Korikancha temple, Inti God shrine, on which the Santo Domingo church was built. According to the chronicles, this temple was completely covered in gold in Inca times. After this we will visit the Sacsayhuaman Archaeological Park to explore Q'enqo, the Puma shrine, and see the sacrificial altar embedded inside a rock cave; Tambomachay and its sacred fountains of life; Puca Pucará viewpoint and watchtower which guarded the city entrance and Sacsayhuaman, an impressive fortress of colossal dimensions with rocks that are up to 4 meters tall and surrounded by beautiful views blending together perfectly. Day 4: Cusco- Aguas Calientes – (Breakfast, lunch and dinner included)
At 6:30 am, pick up from your hotel to our short Shuttle to Cusco`s Poroy station ride covers 104 Kilometers/ 64.6 Miles (4 hours approximately). Then, we set out on our trek archaeological side an then on ward to the town of Aguas Calientes, where we will have lunch.

Day 5: Aguas Calientes – Cusco – (Breakfast included)
At 6:30 am, we Hill take the first bus from Aguas Calientes Town to Machupicchu sanctuary arriving there at 6:50 am. We will enjoy a guided tour of 2 hours and 30 minutes visiting the great Machupicchu Sanctuary . There is an optional hike for the more energetic and adventurous people in the group, to the top of Huayna picchu Mountain the Pyramid – shaped peak that overlooks Machupicchu. After our visit, we will take the bus back down to Aguas calientes, where we can enjoy a relaxing bath at the local hot spring. In the afternoon we`ll take the train back to Cusco at 5:00 pm; Arriving at Cusco`s train stations approximately at 9:23 pm where we`ll shuttle you to your hotel by bus. Stay in Cusco.
Day 6: Cusco – (Breakfast included)
